George Pal and his Dutch Puppet film studio

In the autumn of 1935, George Pal's Dutch puppet film studio was opened in this villa (then called Sunny Home) in Eindhoven located in the Netherlands. The villa was demolished in 2007 (despite protests from the local residents and the film industry).

Pal emigrated to America just before the war (1939).

This put an end to the Pal studio. His employees partly started working at the Joop Geesink Marten Toonder studio. After it was split, Geesink continued with puppet films
